ABOUT BRENDA

Brenda Redman grew up in a small town in Saskatchewan where family gatherings consisted of 20 or more people and there was always more than enough food to go around.

Today, Brenda lives in Esterhazy, Saskatchewan with her husband, Guy, and puppy, Mya. She is blessed with two children, Brenden and Courtney, and has two beautiful granddaughters, Amelia (Peanut) and Alana (Muffin), who are the real-life inspiration behind her books How’s Peanut? and A Silly Willy Christmas.

Brenda’s dream was to write a children’s story but she never thought it would happen. Lo and behold, her daughter, Courtney, announced she was having a baby, and the excitement of becoming a GRAMMA was all she needed to get the first book to print!

Brenda is retired and enjoys public speaking in schools. She loves reading to the students and she finds, that no matter the age, everyone likes story time! The students love the repetition in her stories and enjoy reading along with her!

Reading her books to her granddaughters, and to the students whose classrooms she is invited into, is a dream come true for Brenda.
